What I share, teach and say to you about your personal style and your wardrobe is truly in an effort to not only shift your wardrobe’s position from lackluster to full of life and intention but to also encourage the realization of self so that you are actively working on owning and loving yourself in the process. My services are structured through a dimensional layout which takes you on a discovery of learning and appreciating more about the woman that God created you to be. It’s important to me that you not only learn about your wardrobe but that you feel great about who you are as a person so that you are just not masking your insecurities with pretty things. What’s the point in that? How can you truly be “Guiltless” about your Garb if you don’t love and appreciate yourself? So please know that my efforts are not for mere show. My passion and my heart are truly into my business and I care about you as a person. Ok? Now that’ that’s said, let’s get into today’s post.
If you know me, I mean really know me, then you know how much creativity plays a huge role in creating my outfits. I just shared an Instagram post that discussed how utilizing your wardrobe as an asset and a tool instead of looking at it as a chore or burden can create a powerful shift in not only your wardrobes but yourself. You can check out the post here if you want to read more. I highly suggest doing so. It may open up your eyes or mind to something new.
As you know, or if you don’t know my wardrobe is small, but I use it in such a powerful and proactive way that maybe you don’t even realize how small my wardrobe is. I focus on seasonal capsules vs having a full wardrobe out on display, which helps me to focus on what I’m wearing and want to wear for the season. It also helps me be more specific about interchanging pieces, creating color schemes that mesh well and wearing only what I love. And no, my wardrobe isn’t full of neutrals, but they absolutely play a part in the grand scheme of my wardrobe module. I proudly and boldly wear color and I restyle these same loud and bold pieces countlessly to create many different outfits. Because I care about my overall wardrobe quality, I don’t settle for less than what I love and I implore you to do the same in your wardrobes.
Do any of these pieces in this outfit look familiar to you? They should because I’ve styled them all in previous blog posts or on my ig feed. Check out the pants here, the top here, and the blazer here. I only own one 1 suit in my closet and it happens to be this bold chartreuse color. One thing that I love about outfits with matching pieces is that the opportunity to separate the pieces from its counterpart and reconnect them with an entirely different piece is outfit gold. The options are endless as to how many looks that you can actually make.
Here, I decided to go full-on color with a color-blocked look. What’s kind of funny is, is that I never really was a fan of pink. I always thought that it was just too girly for me, but this raspberry pink has slowly become a favorite in my wardrobe. This blouse I scored thrifting and was a 100% silk, vintage Express piece. Pro tip: Look for vintage Express when thrifting. Their older pieces are always phenomenal and much better quality than today. Sad to say that after my shoot, I noticed that I tore a hole in a place that I don’t think is fixable. I’ll be on the hunt for another pink silk blouse if I can’t repurpose or get this one fixed. I love this blouse so much!! I decided to finish my look off with gold accents, jewelry, and shoes and overall, I was pretty pleased with the outcome.

Style Tip of the day
Use your coordinates and suit sets to the highest capacity! Maximize your possibilities and create new looks by separating and reconnecting those pieces with other things. It just takes a little creativity and a little bit of know-how to successfully restyle your most loved pieces. You can do it!
