I’m trying to get back into the swing of things slowly, but surely. You can’t even imagine how hard it’s been for me just to do simple things, like get out of the bed in the morning. So, this shoot was not only needed for some new material to share with those of you who love and appreciate what you see on my blog, but it also served as a therapeutic purpose.
Olive green is such a stunning color. It’s muted in tone and isn’t very vibrant, but its one of those universal colors that looks great on a lot of skin complexions. Especially for all of my brown skin beauties out there. It’s also one of those colors that I believe can be used as a neutral, meaning that it pairs well with a lot of other colors, or as a stand alone color like you see styled in this outfit.
This multi-wrap bodysuit was an instant head turner. I’m always intrigued by pieces that give you the option to wear them multiple ways. I think the idea is ingenious, and for bargainistas that love maximizing their wardrobes, this is a great piece for that purpose. I decided to pair this slinky little number with a basic pair of high waisted denim. I think the draping that you can create with this bodysuit added enough interest all on its own, so I wanted to let it have its shine. My accessories and jewelry were very minimal, but they added just enough to tie the look all together. I’m definitely swooning over these pair of Ivory horn earrings! I purchased these heels a while ago, but they are really one of my favorite pairs of shoes. I love how the bows amp up this regular strappy heel for an extra touch of femininity. Style Tip of the day
Investing in pieces that give you more ways to style, increases the “more bang for your buck” factor. You will definitely be able to get away with many different styling options, and in turn will allow you to utilize existing pieces in your wardrobe that you may not show much love to.
