How to Style a Monochromatic Look: Green Monochrome

Monochrome

For my monochrome look, I decided upon beautiful and fresh shades of green. I had originally planned an entirely different color scheme, but after much deliberation and madly scouring through my closet for solid pieces, I chose this teal pencil skirt and blouse. I don’t own very many solid pieces in my wardrobe, so this outfit was quite a task. I’ve had the skirt for quite a while, but the blouse is a new addition. I began purchasing more solid pieces to add to my printed palace of a closet, and this was one of my purchases. Nevertheless, I love the way it came together. I hadn’t worn my newest addition lovecortnie, so I decided to pair it with the green for a bit of color blocking. I chose a pair of tiger-striped, calf hair shoes and that was all she wrote! Style Tip of the day
When in doubt, monochrome your way out. Have no idea what blouse or top to pair with that awkward colored skirt or pant??? Throw in a solid blouse in the same color family. It’s so many different shades of colors at your fingertips. You’ll have a chic and well put together look without even trying too hard!
