For my monochrome look, I decided upon beautiful and fresh shades of green. I had originally planned an entirely different color scheme, but after much deliberation and madly scouring through my closet for solid pieces, I chose this teal pencil skirt and blouse. I don’t own very many solid pieces in my wardrobe, so this outfit was quite a task. I’ve had the skirt for quite a while, but the blouse is a new addition. I began purchasing more solid pieces to add to my printed palace of a closet, and this was one of my purchases. Nevertheless, I love the way it came together. I hadn’t worn my newest addition lovecortnie, so I decided to pair it with the green for a bit of color blocking. I chose a pair of tiger-striped, calf hair shoes and that was all she wrote!
