Crisp, clean lines, a free-flowing silhouette, a sultry pop of color and tantalizing curves is what I bring to you with this outfit today. For those of you who have followed my blog, social media or just really can identify with my style, know how much I love color, texture, and prints. Well, this outfit is definitely the antithesis of that. However, this look is one that introduces a much more streamlined and simpler approach to my style and demonstrates just how I love to dress up my basic pieces.

I purchased this dark blue romper many, many moons ago. Almost 6 years ago from Arden B., which is now out of business. Surprisingly, after all of that time and even after giving birth, it still fits. This is one of my die-hard wardrobe pieces that I absolutely love. The sweetheart neckline gives it that extra femininity, while the simplistic pocket feature made this definitely purchase worthy. I decided to pair it with this white duster vest, that my fiance’ actually picked out for me on a shopping trip last year. The back panel is actually slit open on both sides and reconnected with a horizontal cross strap. This allowed the long vest to flow playfully in the wind. Metallics were my color of choice for shoes and accessories because they coincided so precisely with this gorgeous neck-piece from Jacque’s Jewels. The picture DOES NOT do this necklace justice! This is a piece that you must see in person to appreciate its actual beauty. It features a multi-layer ethnic rope chain that drapes five teardrop shaped, wire wrapped stones and jewels. The colors are beyond beautiful! So earthy, robust and rich.
