I’ve always been a fan of rose gold. The color has such a unique characteristic of colliding tones, and it reflects such a beautiful light. Although I don’t own anything rose gold, I’ve always admired pieces in this color. If anybody wants to send me a gift, I’m definitely up for a rose gold piece 😊
This suede rose-colored, button-down dress was such a great buy for me. I’m all about the versatility of styling, and this piece allows me to wear it for its intended purpose and also as a layering piece if I wear it unbuttoned. The denim “duster” that I paired on top of this dress, is also another dress. By doubling up two button down dresses, I was able to fake the illusion of a layering alternative. This gives me more bang for my buck in my wardrobe. The cool blue of this denim dress meshed well with the rose, as it gave it a more pronounced look when worn together. My jewelry and accessories of choice for this ensemble consisted of a multi-strand necklace that featured neutral, pastel colors and a pop of blue, as well as a gold scale hinged belt and light blue snakeskin oversized clutch. Surprisingly, this was actually the first time I wore this bag and it was only until my shoot was over, lol. Lastly, my feet glistened and shined in a pair of gold oxfords that have been a fav in my wardrobe for a while. What are your thoughts on this look? Style Tip of the Day
Creating a versatile wardrobe is important for fashionistas on a budget. Getting together a well thought out list before shopping and listing at least three ways you can wear each garment will allow you to stretch your outfits, your coins and exercise that right brain of yours! (It’s really a myth, but you get the point. Be creative 😊)
