Blue water, sandy shores, cabana boys and tropical drinks with little umbrellas…dreaming of a Summer escape. Somewhere to unwind, lay out and enjoy time away with my honey. I’ve had this metallic gold skirt in my closet for quite some time now. When I purchased it, I had no idea where I was going to wear it, or how I was going to style it. I don’t suggest purchasing clothes without any direction of how you’re going to utilize it by the way. After looking at it for forever, I finally decided to pull it out and wear it for the first time for one of my shoots. Off the shoulder, tops have become a staple in my wardrobe. Although they are trendy, they speak to my personal style aesthetic of being sexy, but not revealing. I’ve been showcasing a couple of ways to style them lately. . Denim goes with what?? Everything! So I thought this denim top was a cute option to pair with my metallic skirt. The shape of my top was very boxy and it wouldn’t have done much for my shape or the look to leave it as is, so I decided to belt it for some definitive shape. My earrings are really what gave my look the injection of color and style interest that I needed. I wanted to keep in the theme of bold color by wearing my red lace up heels to compliment my choice of earring. So what do you guys think? Whenever you’re purchasing an item to add to your wardrobe, purchase with intent. You don’t always have to know the exact place/s that you’re going to wear your item to, however, knowing how this correlates with your daily activities, will avoid you from spending money that you can utilize on something that you’ll actually get more use out of.
