Monochromatic Styling for Fall: Cranberry

If I told you that I wasn’t in love with this outfit, I would be lying. I absolutely adore this cranberry color in different shade and tone variations. It’s so appropriate for the season and in my opinion, the richness of this color is just striking. My initial plan for these genuine leather pants was different when I first recieved them. They were given to me by my cousin, who got them from an estate sale. So for me, they were basically free! They are actually a vintage size 6. I was really skeptical about them fitting because apparently that’s not my size, but to my surprise they actually fit quite well.

I decided against my initial way of styling these pants when I visited Marshalls and saw this amazingly beautiful faux fur vest for $19.99. Almost Immediately my leather pants came to mind and I considered pairing them together. It wasn’t until I found this matching blouse for $14.99,which featured a feminine lace overlay, that I knew I was definitely going to do another monochromatic look. I chose some of my favorite pumps from justfab that feature a faux leather front detail, my first lovecortnie clutch I ever purchased (Cort, I know you’re ashamed but I love the little heart tag on the inside, lol) , and one of my favorite necklaces that was gifted to me from a very good friend of mine. This has to be one of my favorite outfits! I really love the way it turned out. What are your thoughts? Until then…”Grab your Garb!”

Style Tip of the Day
Monochromatic looks are kind of an easy but chic way to cheat an outfit. If you can’t find a specific color that you would like to pair with a particular item, then you can always pick something within the same color family.
