Sexiness should not be overt. Something shapeless that drapes across your hip, hangs off the shoulder; something that cowls in the front, drapes low in the back, that’s sexy. – Rachel Zoe
Rachel Zoe had the right idea. I agree with her 100%. There’s something effortlessly sexy about carefree updos, messy buns, oversized, “in his” tee shirts, a subtle split or bare shoulders. That, I just rolled out of bed, didn’t try too hard, almost trying but really not trying look, that exudes such a natural beauty.
Are you tired of off the shoulder pieces yet? Yeah, me neither! Every time I look at a new off the shoulder item online or in store, my eyes light up like it’s the first time I’ve ever seen a fashion article in this style. It’s crazy how much I love exposed shoulders. I think it’s because it’s slightly sexy, not overly seductive or too enticing, but it still gives the boys just enough skin. You still appear very classy, chic, on trend, if that’s your thing, and it’s really easy to style.
This dress is probably one of my favorites. Very basic, but such a simplistic beauty it is. With a ruched neckline that gathered and adjusted upon stretching, a lower position could’ve been achieved if desired. This same elastic band circumferences the sleeves, creating a billowy effect, that gave the sleeves a little more volume and pizazz. Ain’t nothing wrong with a little leg, so this split was the perfect addition to balance the dresses skin factor out. To accessorize my look, I choose an iridescent crystal necklace that gave off dancing flickers of pink, purple, blue and green. To play off of the sliver of pink, I paired my pink lace-up sandals with my dress to finish my look off. What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments below. Until next time, Grab your Garb!
Style Tip of the day
Sexy is really a state of mind. Whatever it is that you feel sexy in, own it! Own it like your very first paid off car. Embrace the beauty in femininity sometimes and take a break from always showing off what you feel will attract the most attention.
