Buy me a floral jacket instead of flowers and I’ll love you forever…I fell in love with this floral jacket online, and it literally spoke to me. It actually formed lips and developed a vocal box and said, “Buy me!” Ain’t that crazy? I mean of course I thought it was weird, but you know it’s 2017, and technology is so advanced, I just thought they developed a new feature that I didn’t know about, lol. I just shook my head in agreement, triple c’d, clicked, carted and confirmed the purchase, without question.

Florals

If I could wear this floral jacket all of the time without people giving me the side eye and mumbling under their breaths, I probably would. You know people love to call you out when you wear something they’ve seen you in already like they buy your clothes. On top of this jacket’s obvious beauty, it’s comfortable and lightweight. In person, the colors are extremely vivid and I love how the design element is an abstract floral instead of the basic floral print. I also appreciated the trim featuring a tri columned Aztec design. I’ve always been a lover of ethnic design elements. As if this piece needed any, those tiny details really gave the jacket a little more interest. Definitely a conversation piece. It’s also very versatile. You can easily pair this with denim and a white tee or a button-down with a pencil skirt. I decided to pair it with a basic LBD. I think it was the perfect option for such a bold piece.

One of my favorite elements in almost any fashion article is fringe. I like elements that move and add flair, so these chartreuse, lace-up sandals were the perfect pop of color to balance out the look on my feet. A gold linear, choker style necklace completed the outfit and added just the right amount of sparkle and shine. What do you guys think? Leave your comments below and until next time…Grab your Garb!

Style Tip of the day
When playing with bold prints, always remember to add at least one solid piece. This will give more balance to your look and ensure that the print remains the focal piece of your outfit.
